Celebrating Career-Driven Residents with an Exciting Series of Events

At Affinity Living, we’re all about making your living experience the best it can be. We listen to what our residents have to say and shape our spaces around their needs. So when would found out in a recent survey that over 60% of our residents would describe themselves as career-driven, we wanted to celebrate this!

We’re thrilled to kick off our new public event series: Affinity Presents…! Throughout March 2024, we’re inviting successful Manchester brands from all kinds of industries to come and share their stories, tips, and advice. Whether you’re a resident or just dropping by, join us to gain some insights, meet new people, and maybe even get inspired for your own journey.

Networking x Burton Road

Affinity Living & Burton Road presents a networking event for businesses and professionals in Manchester to connect & meet new people at Affinity Living Riverview with two amazing guest speakers.

Our first guest speaker is Richard from Macc, Manchester’s Voluntary & Community sector support organisation. He’ll be telling us about how businesses and professionals in Manchester can develop mutually beneficial relationships with local charities and organisations.

Our second guest speaker is Jai from Yoga with Jai – she worked in the fashion industry for many years, including Manchester’s very own Beaumont Organics, before launching her own wellbeing and yoga business. She’ll be sharing some expert advice on how we can balance career growth whilst looking after ourselves.

Manchester Social x Loaf & Friends

This event is a great way to expand your professional network, make friends, and find like-minded individuals in the Manchester community. And what better way to bond with potential new friends than over delicious cake and drinks?

Our event is designated to bring professionals together in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, foster meaningful connections, and build a supportive community in Manchester.

Whether you are new to the city or just looking to expand your network, this is the perfect opportunity to meet new people.

Affinity Presents: Founders First Steps

Lastly, to end our Affinity Presents… series we will be having Founders First Steps.

Instead of focusing on some billionaire’s success story, we’re celebrating the genuine highs and lows that entrepreneurs face, and sharing how small businesses got themselves on the map.

Through relaxed and informal talks with brilliant local brands, you’ll get to hear about their journeys, ask questions, and discuss shared experiences.
